Remote Container Accommodation
As a result of the recent discovery of oil in Kenya, Oil and Gas companies have faced the challenge of providing adequate accommodation for their staff in remote locations. Accommodating workers in mining and energy sites is a complex task, as these areas require unique solutions for safe, comfortable, and sustainable living in harsh and isolated environments.
To address this challenge, we have developed the Steel Roughneck Container units, which are specifically designed to meet the demands of oilfield operations and exploration. These heavy-duty units feature steel skids that provide flexibility and easy relocation between projects, making them highly suitable for extreme climates.
Our primary goal was to create a welcoming and comfortable living space that workers would look forward to retreating to after work. To achieve this, we focused on every detail of the container, from the furnishings and fittings to the distinctive materials and finishes, to give it a residential feel of comfort and leisure. By doing so, we have transformed the Steel Roughneck Container unit into a home away from home for workers in remote locations
